  Double Take Aveda hair salon has been inspired by 3 females - the first lady our salon represents is Sheila Duffett, Sheila is the mother and maternal Grandmother of the partners in the business. Diane & Charlotte. The very first pair of hairdressing scissors Charlotte had were given to her by her Nan, which Charlotte still has today.
  Aveda are renowned for their cruelty free & natural plant derived products which make them an ideal choice for using on all hair types and are often chosen by those undergoing cancer treatments due to how gentle they are. Sadly, Sheila passed away from Cancer and is remembered with much love and admiration for her family values which has helped create the tranquil & welcoming environment Double Take presents.
  The other two females that inspired the name of the Salon are Identical Twin Girls Missy and Gracie - daughters and Grandaughters of the owners of the business. When the Twins were born 7 years ago the development of a salon was put on hold until they started school, when you see the girls you always have to take a second look to see if you can spot who is who - which inspired the DOUBLE TAKE salon name.
  We are a family run business and from the very start of the venture into the property in Hadleigh all three of us have put our heart and soul into creating a safe warm and tranquil environment to work in and more importantly to welcome our clients into.
  The transformation of the internals of the building were quite vast and at times difficult to achieve, however with Jason's past experience as a Carpenter he was able to apply his expertise to our ideas and inspirations and turn them into a reality. Our salon is now exactly as we had envisioned it to be from the start.
  Charlotte is one of the Partners as well as a very experienced Stylist and Colourist, majority of Charlottes hairdressing career over the past 14 years has been with the Aveda brand. Step Dad Jay is our Resident Barber, specialising in Traditional Wet Shaves and Beard Trims, Diane is the financial partner who keeps everything running smoothly, you will often see her in the salon - front of house and running the PR events, Diane loves to be hands on and chats with many of the customer as she believes that people buy from people, Customer service is key and without a great experience and service you have no business.
