It is on the ground floor in the Health and Holistics building, I am the only accredited EMDR therapist in the north west of Cumbria and have over 40 years experience working with people in both the NHS and Private sector as a nurse as well as a therapist. The success of any therapy is based on the therapeutic relationship which combines, trust, confidentiality, acceptance, non judgemental, caring and compassion to each and every individual who chooses to work with me. The beauty of EMDR is the client has one foot in the present with the therapist and the other foot in the trauma so is not flooded with overwhelming feelings.
