  Children's Hospice South West provides care for children who have life-limiting conditions and are not expected to live into adulthood, whilst also supporting their whole family. With more than 1,000 families with life-limited children in the South West, we provide care and support for nearly 500 families from the point of diagnosis through to bereavement and beyond, for as long as the family needs us. We operate three hospices: Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall. Each hospice offers families the opportunity for respite, relaxation, laughter and friendship, as well as expert palliative and terminal care. Our hospices are places full of love and laughter, where families can begin to forget their worries for a while, be a family again and receive the very best care for their child. Our hospices are open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, providing specialist one to one care for children as well as support, advice and a listening ear to families. The money that we receive from the Government is not guaranteed each year, therefore we need to rely entirely on voluntary contributions to safeguard our vital service into the future. Each month we open our doors to let the community see how their support is making a difference. We don’t have any planned family stays during these days, so you won’t hear the usual noise and laughter that fills the house, but you will leave with a huge sense of enthusiasm for Children’s Hospice South West and a smile on your face.
