Write a reviewWoodlands in London was opened by Mr. Ranjit Sood in 1981 as part of a Government of India approved joint venture with the famous Woodlands Restaurants & Hotels Group from India which has been established there since 1938 We are critically acclaimed by some of the most respected food critics and Guides in the country such as Egon Ronay, Hardens, Zagat, RAC, AA, Time Out, Good Food Guide, Pat Chapman and The Evening Standard but to name a few We have recently introduced a new wine list which contains is wholly Organic, Vegan or Vegetarian wines sourced from small, independent growers who make authentic wines Historically we have specialised in authentic south Indian cuisine but by popular demand we have extended are delicious north Indian menu and have introduced a clay oven at our Piccadilly branch, a concept we will be rolling out to other branches shortly Meal because 98% of our dishes do not contain any butter or cream yet they aredelicious due to the unique recepies and methods of slow cooking used by our chefs, some of whom have been with us for 20 years
