Clever Maths has been running for several years now and exists to provide extra curricular numeracy tuition for children in north-east Hampshire around the Alton area. Clever Maths caters for Key Stage 2 children between the ages of seven and eleven. Our aim is to take their maths skills from whatever level they may be at and improve them, to boost the child's confidence and ability with numeracy. Clever Maths takes place in small classes in Farringdon Village Hall on Tuesday afternoons during term time. Class numbers are kept small and sessions last for 50 minutes. We teach Year Groups 3 and 4 in the same session but in different groups. Likewise Year Groups 5 and 6. Clever Maths believes that numeracy tuition should be fun and our teaching materials and methods reflect that.
