A lifetime of dog related experience, primarily with German Shepherd Dogs, Janie is the owner and founder of Shep's Dog Training Centre.
As an ex-police officer who has trained police dogs and competed in the British Police and Service Canine Association (BPSCA) Service Dogs Trial, Jane has tremendous experience in looking after, training and managing dogs to the highest standards.
She is now a member of the Association of Professional Working Dogs.
Her heart is definitely in her work and she will keep trying for owners who come to her in desperation whose dogs may have been turned away from other trainers as too aggressive or should be destroyed.
The results speak for themselves and with time and patience and a budget to suit your pocket Janie will work along side you and your dog to get things turned around creating a much better relationship with you and your dog
No matter if its a working dog or a family pet, all dogs are different and respond to someone who understands them and through patience and kindness can be turned around.
As well as problem dogs there are 1:2:1 sessions, and classes for those wanting to train or retrain their dog to whatever level is required.
The pup classes are fun and well attended, they all go home wiser and happier and their parents often tell how well they sleep that day....
We are also offering dog walking with behavioural modification, a great way to train your dog, he hardly knows he is being trained and its fun for all and another excuse to get into a forest with a dog.
One thing is guaranteed you and your pup or dog will go home tired following an enjoyable hours work out and home work is fun too!!
