  Safehosts own and operate a datacentre in Cheltenham, Gloucester, UK. The datacentre is a secure environment, climate controlled in an environmentally responsible manner using a hybrid adiabatic and free air cooling system. Electricity is provided by a two feeds to the national grid, backed up by a pair of diesel generators, and two physically seperated UPS devices. We are carrier neutral, but most clients choose to use our connectivity. In short, we offer a managed transit mix using best (rather than cheapest) peering and Tier 1 carriers. Our core Juniper MX480 routers are located in Telehouse North and Telecity Sovereign House. Cheltenham is connected to London with a pair of route and carrier diverse fibre connections, provided by SSE and Vodafone. Servers are hosted in server racks, also known as rackspace. We can offer space on a per u basis, or 10U Quarter Racks, 21U Half Racks, 42U Private Lockable Racks with doors, and private suites, private rooms, and private cages within our high specification low PuE server rooms, data floors, and server halls. The datacentre is manned and accessable at all times. We provide a full range of support services, from basic remote hands to full server management. Our location is in Cheltenham, close to Gloucester, Hereford and Swindon, and mid-way between Bristol and Birmingham on the M5.
