Write a reviewDIY Community Group was conceived in December 2007 with the idea of providing facilities to help those living on the four estates of Weston super Mare to be able to make and construct their projects in a spacious and safe workshop where they could be watched over by people with expertise in different aspects of DIY Our services are mainly run by volunteers, all of whom have spent their lives in the various trades and are able and willing to pass on their knowledge and experience As a Skills for Life Centre in Weston, where residents could not only do courses in DIY and art, we would like to open a catering department; after all, Weston is a seaside resort Practice those artistic skills and help with building stage scenery as we often work closely with local theatre and drama groups or try your hand at pottery or ceramics
