We saw Simon some years ago at a club in Shanklin where he was the Elvis impersonator and, I believe, ran the club. I have been a fan of Elvis (And Cliff) since my teenage time and have heard quite a few of their impersonators over the years. When Simon started his act I said to my partner, Elaine, I think he is miming. He had the voice spot on, and looked great, and when he stopped mid song and made a quip to someone, I was quite amazed, he was really singing. Just having seen his video of his Tom Jones act I am doubly impressed and always pleased to give him a wave when I see him in town! Carry on the good work, Simon. We hope to see you at the Conservative club soon in Shanklin. Warmest wishes Den Clare
