Our experienced team have over 100 years working experience at Bradford based A S Pickering, all have served their apprentices here learning everything from vintage and modern car interior reupholstery to convertible soft-top restoration. Through the knowledge and skill of our craftsmen we have perfected the art of restoring vintage vehicles to their former glory, using traditional methods and materials. We have worked on various cars over the years and seen many changes from Model T Ford to the earliest Rolls Royces from Morris minors to Daimlers. We have been featured in the practical classic magazine, and also were lucky enough to have been filmed by skys used car road show, which we are very proud of. We have work on show in the Skopos motor museum in Batley, and the Keighley and worthvalley railway museum, also our work has been featured in the tv series heartbeat. Our other specialised services include creating bespoke leather interiors for any model of car from the veteran vintage, to the modern day car, we can create the past, using our knowledge and using traditional methods and materials, full range of hoods available, replacements windows for cabriolets, seat repairs, rear seat conversions for small vans, barber chairs, camper van refurbishments. We tailor make hoods, side screens, tonneau and hood bags to fit any vehicle. We can make side screen frames to fit your car, we can make all these from scratch without any reference material and we pride ourselves on their fit we use traditional methods and materials to make these cars look like they once did. Methods forgotten we still use, like deep buttoning and spring casing.
