What style of music does The Crooner perform? The performance includes a selection of songs from the 50's and 60's. The songs selected are among the most popular from the fabulous era of swing. The Crooner has a large number of songs from the ' Rat Pack' (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Bobby Darin) but also a number of songs made famous by the likes of Nat King Cole , Andy Williams , Johnny Mathis, Elvis Presley , Bobby Vee, Englebert Humperdink and several other artists from the era of cool swing lounge music. Michel Buble also now included!! What occasions is the act suitable for? Almost any time, any place, anywhere...James's act is appropriate for a wide range of events. James has performed at: Cocktail Parties Champagne Receptions Corporate Events Restaurants Weddings Large small Hotels (the Britannia, Manchester, Sacha's Manchester, The Cliffs, Blackpool etc) Wedding Receptions Wedding Breakfasts Birthday Parties Anniversary Parties Garden Parties or as a fill in between sections i.e. between wedding breakfasts and evening event. James can adapt his act to fit in with your plans - do you want James to to blend into the background or take to the stage to help run the night with some comparing The choice is yours - but good preparation is the key, make sure James knows what you are looking for well in advance so that he puts on the best show for your money Does he travel? How about internationally? Yes. James will travel to almost any destination by car, plane or boat! The price quoted will include additional or excessive travelling times/distances. When the performance is abroad, a suitable, good quality PA system and reasonable accomodation must be provided by the client. Can the client choose their own Playlist ? Yes, choose from the attached comprehensive list of songs to ensure the occasion is 'tailor made' to your requirements. Please ensure any special songs are requested early. Will the act perform a 'dance spot' where required? In true keeping with the genre, The Crooner wears a smart black Dinner Suit, shirt and tie. And although he doesn't actually impersonate the artists as such, his mannerisms and movements are typical of the legends he covers. His presentation is everything you would expect and more.
