Scammers - Do NOT use

This company does not provide the services that you pay for. I paid, up front, in good faith the full amount for EICR and FRA reports to be conducted at my address. Two technicians turned up on the allocated day agreed, and completed the assessments. afterwards they continuously, they keep pushing the deadline for the reports to be released back. I think I got 5 different dates from them, all of which were missed. After many correspondence to to them over these many dates, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. I requested a refund, that was refused. So I submitted a one star review and they contacted me stating that if I removed said review then my reports (that I have paid for) will be released. Absolute scammers. I still have not received the reports nor me refund.

FAQs

A Landlord Safety Certificate is a document that verifies the electrical and gas safety of a rental property. It confirms that all installations and appliances meet regulatory standards and are safe for tenants to use.
As a landlord, you are legally required to ensure that the electrical systems and gas appliances in your property are safe. A Landlord Safety Certificate provides proof that you have met your obligations, protecting you from legal penalties and ensuring tenant safety.
Landlords typically need an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) for electrical safety and a Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) for gas appliances. Depending on the property, you may also need fire safety certificates or PAT testing certificates for electrical appliances.
EICR Certificates are valid for five years, but you should renew them sooner if recommended in the report. Gas Safety Certificates must be renewed annually.
Without a valid safety certificate, you may face fines, legal actions, and difficulty evicting tenants if necessary. It also puts your tenants at risk and could invalidate your landlord insurance.
Only qualified and registered professionals, such as Gas Safe registered engineers for gas safety and certified electricians for electrical safety, can issue these certificates.
For an EICR inspection, the electrician will assess the safety of electrical installations, including wiring, sockets, and fuse boxes. For a Gas Safety inspection, a registered engineer will check gas appliances, pipes, and ventilation systems to ensure they meet safety standards.
A typical EICR inspection can take between 1-4 hours depending on the size of the property. A Gas Safety check usually takes 30-60 minutes.
If the inspection finds faults, you will need to arrange for repairs or replacements. After resolving the issues, a follow-up inspection may be necessary to obtain the safety certificate.
Newly built properties come with an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC), which is valid for five years. After that, you will need an EICR. For gas appliances, you still need an annual Gas Safety Certificate even if the property is new.
The cost depends on the type of inspection, size of the property, and number of appliances. Contact us for an exact quote based on your property’s needs.
Yes, landlords are required by law to provide tenants with a copy of the EICR and Gas Safety Certificate within 28 days of the inspection.
No, safety checks must be performed by qualified professionals who are registered with the appropriate regulatory bodies like Gas Safe or NICEIC.
