PTH Group appoints new Managing Director

PTH Group, the occupational health services provider based in Bromsgrove, announces that Ann Chantry-Price is retiring as Managing Director on 31 March 2011 after more than five successful years in the post. 


Ann is to remain a main board director of PTH and retain her shareholding. She will also continue with PTH on a consultancy basis.  Edward Stott, Chairman of PTH Group comments “My sincere personal thanks go to Ann who in recent years has re-structured and developed PTH into a successful, flexible and client focused occupational health provider that competes with the best. We look forward to Ann’s continuing input at board level where we benefit tremendously from her wide experience in occupational health”.


“Succession planning is key to PTH’s continuing success, and as part of this PTH is pleased to announce that Kay Merrick will be taking over from Ann as Managing Director”. Kay has been with PTH since 2004, becoming a main board director in 2008, with responsibilities as Group Finance and Operations Director. Kay is a qualified accountant with a wealth of experience at PTH and prior to that within The Boots Group for eight years.  Ann Chantry-Price adds “We are confident of a smooth transition and that PTH will continue to grow and adapt to the ever changing needs of its clients in the economic environment being experienced. It is a natural progression for Kay to take over the future development of PTH from myself.”


In addition PTH has recently appointed Anne Hollingsworth as full time Sales Manager to take over and expand the sales activity currently managed by Ann.  She is familiar with the occupational health market and will concentrate on supporting the needs of clients. 


To enable Kay to focus on her new role, PTH has further strengthened their operations by appointing an Office Manager, Keith Litster, who is responsible for the administration team and the smooth running of PTH’s offices. 


Finally, Abi Chantry-Price, senior OH nurse, has been made Occupational Health Manager so that in addition to managing the clinical services, she will now focus more on contract management with Kay and the newly expanded team.


Liza Fellows, Marketing Manager further commented “The last few years have been exciting times for PTH as we have opened two new offices in Northampton and Shrewsbury in order to serve our customers. This is a trend we see continuing as we expand from our Bromsgrove headquarters”.
