I qualified as a homeopath in 1998 after a 4 year course at the College of Practical Homeopathy in Dudley. I have been in practice as a Professional Homeopath ever since. Homeopathy has been in use for over 200 years and has been used to treat a wide variety of problems. Homeopathy is an elegant and gentle way of treating illness. It looks at stresses- recent and past- lifestyle, and how all this affects our wellbeing. Diet is hugely important and makes up part of the discussion. We are what we eat! Some of the conditions regularly treated include: asthma and hay fever, eczema, psoriasis, bowel problems, PMT and menopause problems, arthritis and joint problems, phobias, stress and depression, hyperactivity and ADHD in children and problems like repeated ear or throat infections. I have a particular interest in using homeopathy to help treat the side effects of cancer treatment (radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hormone blocking drugs e.g. tamoxifen). Research has recently shown homeopathy to be particularly effective in helping with these symptoms Homeopathy can be used for anyone and has no side effects. Clients usually see me every 4 weeks for a consultation. A first appointment can take up to 2 hours. Follow up appointments take about 3/4 hour. I am registered with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (www.a-r-h.org). I am insured and abide by a strict code of ethics.
