As part of their commitment to quality assurance Bromfield Sand and Gravel needed their customers to be able to clearly differentiate between their products when stored on pallets side-by-side in their yards and warehouses. To achieve this Bromfield investigated methods suitable for coding or marking pallets of blocks where the code would stand up to the rigours of both the production environment and the subsequent outdoor storage.

Bromfield Quarry Manager Wayne Clent identified that an ink jet printer could tick all the boxes and
selected several suppliers to give him an on-site demonstration. At the end of the demonstrations  Wayne chose the Codeology i100 ink jet printer.

Wayne chose the Codeology machine because the Codeology system was flexible, easy to program and could be easily and quickly altered; the print was easily  legible from a distance and
the printer was robust enough to survive on their production line. It was a simple 'fit and forget' installation with just a 110V supply and needed no mains air.

Codeology UK Sales Manager John Walsh commented "We realised that Bromfield required a rugged, hassle-free system that was easy to start up and even easier to live with. Most of all, Wayne wanted to work with a responsive company that are prepared to back up the initial installation with a team that will offer unrivalled, comprehensive support."
