Golden Heavy Body Acrylic is the original line of artists acrylic and is known for its exceptionally smooth, thick buttery consistency. It contains the largest assortment of unique pure pigments in a 100% acrylic emulsion vehicle. These colours offer excellent permanency and lightfastness. There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added.

Each colour is formulated differently depending on the nature of the pigment. Colours that tolerate higher pigment "loads" dry to a more opaque, matte finish. Colours that are more reactive and do not accept high pigment loading dry to a glossy transparent finish.

GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics are noted for their exceptionally smooth, rich, buttery consistency. These paints have the ability to "stand up" and retain brush strokes or palette knife marks on the canvas.

Paint & ART

My vision for Paint & ART is something quite different from your run of-the-mill art shop. I nearly always find art shops to be quite boring places to be in, they’re just shops that happen to sell art supplies; they may as well be selling table cloths or spanners. I feel that an art shop needs to be so much more; it needs to be a place of inspiration and creativity. Artists are by their nature, creative people, so they desire inspiration; they are always looking for something to inspir
