Face to face, confidential counselling... Faced with problems which feel too painful or difficult to deal with alone; when there seems nowhere to turn and the first step feels impossible to take, you may benefit from coming for counselling sessions. I offer counselling for difficulties such as depression, anger, addiction, anxiety, bereavement, relationship issues and painful memories. As a BACP accredited counsellor, I base my counselling on careful and non-judgemental listening, supporting you rather than giving direct advice. You have freedom to speak about whatever is troubling you and together we may explore unconscious emotional patterns and unhelpful thoughts which may be keeping you from living life more fully. I will usually be able to offer you an appointment for an initial session of 50 minutes within 48hours. This will help us to find out if we are able to work together. I offer both time-limited and open-ended counselling, whichever meets your needs.
