Since their importation for the now defunct fur trade  in 1927  mink have both escaped and been  thoughtlessly released  to form a growing wild population in our countryside  with  serious implications for our native wildlife and domestic livestock. Using waterways to move between transitory territories mink are easily able  to alter and extend their range to match the available prey. This prey might equally consist of a rare newt or water bird    pet rabbits or poultry.  Amphibians ,mammals ,birds and fish are all taken according to availability .
Green Weasel offer a  friendly and cost-effective mink control service in the local area  based upon experience dating back to 1986 and is certified in the use of  humane and legal trapping techniques .
