The introduction of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations in 1994 brought about the legal requirement for Planning Supervision on all applicable construction projects.
These regulations have been revised and updated in the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 and the Planning Supervisor is now known as the CDM Co-ordinator.
This requirement to appoint a co-ordinator is aimed at reducing the large number of serious and fatal accidents and the numerous cases of ill health which affect the construction industry every year.
RDjW Architects Limited have been carrying out the duty of Health & Safety Co-ordinator on a large range of projects over the past years since the introduction of the regulations.
Our experience allows us to assist you in complying with your legal obligations in a manner which is proportionate to the nature, scale and level of health and safety risks involved in the project.
