Saturday 27th February - 2.00pm - 4.00pm
A talk on Person Centred Counselling and Mindfulness with Russ Kendall MBACP registered.
Russ is an experienced counsellor and lecturer in psychology.
He offers short and long term counselling to individuals and to couples experiencing challenges in their relationships.
Person-Centred Counselling is central to Humanistic Psychology.
It focuses on our human uniqueness and potential.
In this talk Russell will consider the different reasons why our personal growth may be hampered by childhood conditions relating to worth.
He will also explore how the counselling relationship provides the opportunity for the light of our Self to shine and the innate power we all have to guide our own lives.
This afternoon Russ will also explore how mindfulness, so often associated with cognition, can be used alongside Person-Centred Counselling to connect with our higher Self and allow us to soften old conditioned patterns of behaviour to make change more possible.
Russ will share from his experiences and invite those present to connect with theirs.
