Special event: Come and be inspired by an afternoon of superlative Celtic Harp with Harriet Earis ~ lively, uplifting music from Wales, Ireland and Scotland.
We are very pleased to welcome Harriet back to Bosham House. This will be an afternoon with a difference.
Harpist Harriet Earis has a degree in Celtic Studies from Trinity College, Cambridge and draws upon a joyful musical repertoire that embraces old and new music from Wales, Ireland and Scotland.
In 2005 Harriet was one of a few young musicians in the UK to be awarded a place on Yehudi Menuhin’s “Live Music Now!” scheme, which led to over 150 solo concerts in community venues. Since then Harriet has gone from strength to strength with two solo CDs under her belt plus various accolades in the traditional music scene.
She is currently recording a new trio album with her trio of harp, bass and drums, mixing Celtic music with jazz.
The Musicians’ Union magazine described her second album as ‘superlative’.
“a star in the British Folk Firmament” (Musician Magazine)
“a tickled pink musician if ever there was one” (South Wales Argus)
“scintillating brio and charm” (The Scotsman)
