I can convert almost any audio format onto CD. This includes Vinyl (33, 45 & 78 rpm), Cassette, DAT, Mini-Disc, and of course MP3. Even the soundtrack from your home-made video or DVD can be burned onto a CD. For example - you may have filmed your husband singing Karaoke at a party and he did such a stunning performance you'd like it to be part of your CD collection, or you may even want it on your iPod!

Devices that convert from various formats to CD are available quite cheaply. However, this is a time consuming job and none of these cheap soultions offer a way of naming each song using CD Text or fading out a song smoothly where it may have cut off suddenly at the end of the cassette. By using professional software, hardware and 11 years of mastering experience I can guarantee far better results.

I use up-to-date, industry standard mastering software to improve the quality of the recording (where necessary) and I have restoration software which reduces and in many cases removes crackles and hiss.

Software: Steinberg Wavelab 6.1; Wave Arts Power Suite 5.4

Hardware: Ion turntable; Yamaha KX-580 cassette deck with Dolby B/C/S; Fostex D-5 DAT machine; Sony MDS-JE780 Mini-Disc Deck, RME Fireface 400 Audio Interface; Spirit 4P active monitors.
