Reiki and animals
Animals benefit from reiki as much as or if not more than humans.
Animals are a lot more instinctive and know when you are trying to help them Treatment on small animals such as dogs, cats and rabbits is always done in the animal’s home where they feel the most relaxed. Time is spent firstly connecting with the animal so the animal understands what is going to happen.
An animal will only take exactly what is needed and when they have had enough, they will walk away. It is important that an unwell animal is treated by a vet, and reiki is not a substitute for vetinary treatment.
You will be asked to sign a declaration first to say that the animal has been examined by a vet. Due to the way animals are, your animal may refuse treatment, if a cat for example doesn’t want to know, then there is nothing to be gained by holding the animal tight and treating it, If the animal doesn’t want treatment, we have to respect that.
The way we treat animals with reiki and the approach we take, is reflected in the pricing. If your animal takes a full hour of treatment, then the cost is £20 If the animal has 15 minutes, £5, half an hour £10, and 45 minutes £15. If the animal refuses treatment , then you would just pay my travel expenses of 30p per mile.
