The level 2 provides candidates with knowledge and understanding of the fire safety process and the awareness skills.
This course will demonstrate how fires can be caused in the workplace, what the hazards are during and after a fire, what methods are used to identify and control fire including; the characteristics and stages of fire and smoke, including the important role of the Fire Warden.
Each candidate will learn about the different extinguishers in their workplace and learn when and how to use them.
By the end of the course candidates will have all the information on the common fixed fire-fighting systems and how to carry out a fire safety inspection in the workplace.
Candidates are given 45mins to complete a 30 multiple choice question paper which is then sent away to be marked by independent examiners,results and certificates are issued to the centre within 10-15 working days.
