The course contains the three strands of sustainable development, the excess consumption and the ‘Three Plant’ lifestyle. Candidates will learn about the ecological footprint and the problems caused by non-sustainable lifestyles. Candidates’ will go through natural resources, their importance including sustainability issues relating to this, plus how individuals are impacting on the environment. Candidate will learn about the impact of waste, energy usage, water usage and transport usage and how they must be reduced as well as the concept of sustainable community plus the local and global benefits of sustainable community. Candidates are given 45mins to complete a 30 multiple choice question paper which is then sent away to be marked by independent examiners,results and certificates are issued to the centre within 10-15 working days.
