SafeGuard has launched an innovative new service for jewellery manufacturers, importers and retailers. The “Jewellery Assessment Report” has been developed in response to requests for an independent assessment of multi stone items, to verify the quality and give the consumer additional confidence in the product.
The service includes an overall assessment of the quality of stones and a description of the item, the precious metal and its hallmarks, but no value. It can be used in-store to offer the reassurance of an expert opinion, where a valuation cannot be used, and includes a bespoke “Anchor” hologram to further guarantee authenticity.
SafeGuard Director, Carla Goodfellow said: “We designed the Jewellery Assessment Report to meet our customers’ requirements and are confident it will help them secure sales. The new service was received very enthusiastically at Spring Fair and SafeGuard has already produced a significant number of reports.”
The service provides an expert opinion on the overall quality of the article and will add value to both new and second hand pieces.
