Acupuncture is the use of fine needles inserted into acupuncture points, which lie along energy channels, to stimulate the bodies own healing response.
All needles used are sterile, single use and of the highest quality.
A gentle technique is used to either help improve the flow of energy and strengthen it or disperse/ detox excess or pathogens.
Moxibustion, the burning of Mugwort, is used alongside Acupuncture to warm, nourish and help to move the qi and Blood. This may be burned directly on an acupuncture point; above it or on a needle.
Cupping and Gua Sha are therapies used to reduce pain and move blockages. If you would like to try these or they will be beneficial for you, the methods of treatment will be explained and discussed with you and your consent gained before any intervention.
Auricular acupuncture is particularly beneficial for detox or as an aid when trying to cut down on drugs, smoking or food. It can also be used to help relieve stress and aid relaxation.
"Battlefield Acupuncture" - a specific auricular protocol as used in the US airforce, can be helpful for pain relief and uses tiny needles which can be left in situ for several days.
