This module will heighten the awareness of drivers to identify on road incidents and the ability to assess emergency situations. It will explore the legislation, the legal responsibilities and behaviour of drivers involved in collisions, in particular looking at: Single vehicle incidents, behaviour in an emergency situation, avoiding complications of a situation and informing relevant authorities. Dealing with incidents that drivers are likely to come across, the ability to assess emergency situations, avoiding complications and summoning assistance. Dealing with illegal immigration, the implications for drivers, preventative measures, check lists and legislation on transport operator liability. Our trainer will lead you through the module providing you with information which may be of benefit in your working life, giving you the ability to act decisively and correctly in an emergency situation.
