 The Welwyn Festival Week has grown to more than a week of social activities and celebration in and around the Roman village of Welwyn, Hertfordshire, just off the A1 (J6), every June since 1974!

The Welwyn Festival Group co-ordinates over 50 events, such as art exhibitions, talent contests, music events, the Street Market, sports activities and competitions, Scruffs dog show, the annual Duck Race along the Mimram, raffles, quizzes, a costume parade through the High Street, a Family Fun Day and so much more.

As a not-for-profit group of volunteers, all surplus funds are donated to charities and community groups each year.

Our printed programme accepts advertising between January and April; the programmes are distributed to up to 5000 households in the area. For further details of advertising, stalls at the Street Market or the Family Fun Day, contact in the first instance via email:
