Traditional Floor Screed is factory mixed for flooring and roofing applications and boasts excellent cement dispersion, giving greater and more uniform compressive strength than site mixed screeds. In addition we use a cement retarder within our screeds, aiding installation by remaining workable for 8-12 hours.
Fibrescreeds are ideal for use in hospitals, offices and industry, fibrescreeds have been developed to meet the demand for sand and cement screeds without the incorporation of a reinforcement mesh. By incorporating an even dispersion of polypropylene fibres the screed is super strong. The fibres improve cohesion and control cracking caused by intrinsic stresses.
Fast Drying Screeds are suitable for all common floor finishes and allow for earlier use of the floor space. They are particularly common within fast track retail fit out contracts. Fast drying screeds have a drying rate of 4mm per day and can accept light foot traffic after 2 Days.
Rapid Setting Screeds are for extremely tight programmes. Site mixed, they can normally be trafficked after several hours and are able to accept a final floor finish 24 hours after installation. Relying on an aluminium based cement to accelerate the hardening process.
SBR Polymer Modified Screed has increased toughness and bond properties thanks to the inclusion of a synthetic polymer resin. These screeds minimise shrinkage and cracking, permerability is reduced and flexural strength is improved. Polymer modified screeds can provide higher performance at thinner levels when normal thickness would normally be problematic. SBR screed can be installed to a minimum depth of 25mm (Bonded).
High Density Screeds provide a higher strength and abrasion resistant finish. High Density screed is effective on floors subject to heavy foot traffic and point loading. These screeds can either be bonded directly to the slab or placed onto thermal/acoustic insulation.
Equal Approved Isocrete K Screed is a site mixed screed delivered into working areas through our specialist screed pumps or mixers. A cost effective alternative to the heavily specified Isocrete K Screed. In repsonse to our clients requirements we have worked in conjunction with one of our major suppliers to provide this quick drying, economical alternative to Isocrete K Screed.
