Like every other living thing, grass gets tired and over time its reproduction rate slows down. In the wild, grass plants set seed every year and the sward is constantly regenerated by new plants. On ornamental lawns we mow the plants before they can develop a seed head, so we have to give lawns a helping hand to reproduce, by over seeding using a specialist seed drill.
We apply a variety of seed mixtures which we choose to suit the varying conditions of your soil and the aspect of your garden. Drilling seed into the ground is much more effective than spreading it on the surface for birds to eat!
