On any major construction project, your first port of call would normally be an architect or project manager to take you through the process. However, under the CDM 2007 Regulations, you are not, as a client, obligated to appoint either, but you do have a legal requirement to appoint a CDM Co-ordinator if the job is notifiable, i.e. longer than 500 man hours.  As CDM Co-ordinators, we are here to advise the client of their statutory obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act. Our aim is to ensure that Health and Safety is at the forethought of the team’s mind throughout the design and construction stages.
