Pregnancy massage is a massage therapy specifically tailored to your needs, it is safe and available to you once you've have had your 12 week scan

I use a special pregnancy massage cushion, which allows you to lie comfortably on your front during your pregnancy, as you have chest and pelvic support. My clients have told me how wonderfully relaxing and comfortable they find it!

Proper positioning ensures  your comfort and safety of both you and your baby.

The many benefits of pregnancy massage is reduced stress levels,  decreased swelling/oedema in arms and legs and relieves aches and pains in muscles and joints. Also, it is a great aid to promote a restful sleep and help relieve symptoms of pregnancy related insomnia, especially during the last trimester.

It's a popular complementary therapy during pregnancy for back pain, when choices for pain relief, such as medication, are often limited.

Not only can pregnancy massage be physically beneficial, but the human touch can be comforting and provide emotional support during your pregnancy and preparation for giving birth. Pregnancy massage therapy has also been found to reduce anxiety and depression.

Aromatherapy essential oils suitable for use during your pregnancy are also used if required, which are a huge benefit during pregnancy, and can be a great benefit if you a suffering morning sickness, stretch marks and also enhances the benefits of massage.

Testimonial - "I had a massage with Paula when I was about 36 weeks pregnant. I had been suffering with a lot of back pain and was finding it quite uncomfortable to sleep. Paula made me feel very welcome and relaxed and made sure that I was completely comfortable before she started my massage. The massage lasted for an hour and was absolutely amazing. I felt so relaxed, that I even fell asleep at one point! For the weeks following my treatment, my back ache was relieved and I slept so much better.   I would definitely recommend Paula to any pregnant lady to relieve any aches and pains or just as a special treat." - Beth M - Walton on Thames
