The study of nutrition is very much in demand as there is more and more focus on diet.
Our one and two year diplomas provide you with everything you need to practice as a qualified Dietary Therapist or as a practitioner of Nutritional Therapy.
Dietary Therapists work in private practice advising clients on therapeutic value of food to address system imbalances and help maintain health.
This one year, part time course (2 days a week) covers the basic components and factors of food, water and macro/micro nutrients and their control at molecular, cellular, tissue and whole body levels.You will be able to develop the skills required to assess a client’s dietary requirements, research information in practice and apply your knowledge to the practical setting of client / student interaction. Our clinical counselling module also enables you to explore methods for reflection and strategies for self development.At the end of this course you will be able to set up a successful dietary therapy practice by understanding your professional and business environment and thereby becoming a competent practitioner.Topics covered in this course:
