Martial Arts has been part of my life since I was nine. practising Kyokushin Karate, reaching black belt. Privilagerd to be taught in Japan in 1994 which helped me develop within the style. This helped me prepare and teach over 1000 students in years as a Sensai, working at my dojos in London With this background and knowledge of biomechanics, i have moved into conditioning for martial artists. Improving fundamental martial arts skills like strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, speed and agility requiries a wide range of specific exercises. Whether you are competing in the Olympics or just practising kicks at your local club you will need a certain level of these skills to function at your best. The focus of this training is performance improvement. A complete program, geared toward total improvement WHAT TO EXPECT Initial Assessment & Consultation This consists of a health and fitness questionnaire where we learn not just the hard facts of your previous Sports Training experience, sports specific goals and medical history. Body Composition Analysis Whereby we calculate body fat percentages and take height and weight statistics so as to benchmark ongoing progress. Structural, postural, and muscular balance testing Where are your weaknesses / strengths and how can they be addressed for a healthy, functional and injury free Sports Specific Training Muscle fibre testing Are you fast twitch or slow twitch, how many repetitions are ideal for your body type Nutritional Consultation 1- 2 hours of one to one work per week
