Specifically designed for provides individuals who have a job-related duty to respond to emergencies with the knowledge and skills to recognize and provide care in respiratory and cardiac emergencies.
These skills include:
• Performing two-rescuer CPR and techniques for special rescue situations. • Using resuscitation masks and bag mask devices for ventilating victims. • Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). • Proper use of oropharyngeal, nasopharyngeal and laryngeal mask airways.
Participants should be working in a „Professional Rescuer‟ role and have a „Duty to Respond‟.
A one day course consisting of theory and practical work.

Special resuscitation situations
Although there is no formal assessment, the trainer will assess each individual ongoing throughout the course. This qualification is valid for one year.
