AGME incorporates the AC2 quality assurance system to their riveting machines

As an option, AGME riveting machines can also have the new AC2 quality assurance system.
The AC2 system monitors and controls the riveting process with the aid of AGME 1200 equipment. This system detects and evaluates the rivet presence and its height, the applied pressure during the process and the riveting tool wearing or breakage.
The return can be done selecting the time, force, position, taking into account the riveting distance and height of the riveted head. The numerical results of the final force, contact, time, riveting distance, final position and riveted head final height can be also obtained. The parameters control is performed using tolerances and/or envelope curves
With all these data this AC2 quality assurance system evaluates each processed part OK and NOK in a simple way, controlling the most important parameters.
The main difference between AC2 and AC1 (system also developped by AGME) is the way of measuring the riveting course. AC1 system measures the course from the riveting machine resting position. However the AC2 system includes a hold down device that determines the reference surface on which the course is being measured.
Both systems have been developed for the final user. Their high precision and response speed guarantee a quality total control. Furthermore, they can be incorporated to any kind of pneumatic or hydraulic riveting machine.
