Level IT three - cool under pressure

Ultra Floor Level IT three Super Dry has been used in a multi-storey Manchester office conversion, ensuring construction deadlines were met.
Although first perceived as a relatively straightforward job, an office conversion on Bridge Street in Manchester proved challenging, comprising extreme temperatures, several storeys and a short timescale.
Long-standing Ultra Tile customer, Stafford Tiles & Flooring Solutions, secured the job and chose to use subfloor preparation materials from sister brand Ultra Floor.
Completion during the 2013’s high summer temperatures and single day window would be challenge enough for any contract team. But with 200m² over 3 storeys, Pete Davis from Stafford Tiles & Flooring Solutions, was still over the moon with the results: “The Ultra Floor material was cost-effective. Its flow was very good due to good workability and therefore costs were saved on labour.”
Level IT three is an innovative multi-component bag and bottle system specifically developed for the smoothing and levelling of subfloors prior to the installation of floorcoverings. It consists of a polymer modified cementitious powder which can be used with either liquid A, Super Dry or Liquid B, Super Bond depending on subfloor requirements. When mixed with liquid A Super Dry, it has enhanced drying and is suitable for use on most subfloors including concrete, sand/cement screeds, asphalt and surface damp proof membranes.
Level IT three is ready to receive foot traffic after just 2.5 hours, decorative flooring between 8-12 hours and can be laid up to 12mm, covering an optimum 5m² at 3mm. The pre-measured liquid additives eliminate mixing errors, saving time on-site.+
The project also included the removal of old subfloor residues and priming using Ultra Floor Prime IT AR. All work was completed within the day, ready for a vinyl floorcovering.
