Part of your responsibility under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and the Health and Safety Regulations 1974 is to ensure that individuals and organisations working within your company are aware of the risks associated with asbestos hazards and in particular where the hazards are likely to be located.

One of the most important issues in relation to buildings containing asbestos is the notification, education and training of your employees, building managers and maintenance workers.

Basic training covers some aspects of this for office-based employees; however, more detailed training may be required for employees with a more day to day involvement in buildings, design, maintenance, alteration works, refurbishment, demolition or asbestos management.

Wade Consultants Ltd are well aware of this and have established training programmes which provide the relevant levels of education required by the differing levels of your employees, building occupiers and maintenance workers
