I tailor each training session to my clients specific goals, be that weight loss or the development of cardiovascular fitness or strength. I am keen to make sessions as enjoyable as possible for my clients by discussing exercise preferences and integrating these into our plans. I have bluetooth speakers installed in the studio and encourage my clients to bring in music that will help keep them motivated and smiling even when the rigors of the session take its toll! I offer common sense and realistic advice on nutrition. This is broken down into two components, what and why. Initially, we will look at what a client eats on a day to day basis and look to make small, incremental changes to help them work towards their goals. Then comes the why, why does a client eat or drink what they do, what are the underlying reasons and causes for this? Through analysis and personal reflection I work with clients to change their behaviors and coping strategies and help them embed long term, positive changes that not only help them lose weight but keep it off once they reach their target.
