 Solar Pool Heating

Solar thermal hot water systems are more commonly used in conjunction with central heating and running water, but one other excellent application is the heating of water for indoor and outdoor swimming pools.  When installed for this purpose, a full summer’s worth of pool water can be heated without the need for any other heat source.

Before work is carried out, Azure Eco will visit your home to discuss prices and the suitability of a house for a solar pool heating system.  A home will be assessed for the best location to place solar panels which will ultimately collect the energy required to heat a pool.  This is an important stage as the optimum number and size of panels is intrinsic to the temperature of a pool’s water.

When a project is agreed, we will the schedule a date for installation with this installation invariably taking between 3 and 4 days to complete; although your pool’s hot water will only usually be turned off for one day.

With the new system in place, you will be covered by a 2-year parts and labour warranty, with your new solar panels having a 10 year warranty.  While all solar systems are renowned for their low maintenance values, we would recommend a scheduled check after 5 years to ensure everything is working as it should be.

At Azure Eco, we place a heavy emphasis on customer relations at all times and will ensure that you are fully aware of timescales and all elements of your new system’s functionality.  We will also be available to answer any questions you may have for an indefinite amount of time after a system’s installation.
