VO4HOME Ltd, manufacturer of the innovative VO4HOME domestic and small business voltage optimisation system, is pleased to announce it is helping a small bakery in Wales achieve its goals of actively reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.
The 3 phase VO4HOME unit installed by Tregroes Waffle Bakery in a bid to reduce its environmental impact, has resulted in immediate savings in energy consumption and a significant reduction in electricity costs.
Commenting on the installation Andy Romoff, South West England and South Wales sales representative for VO4HOME Ltd. said: “Tregroes Waffle Bakery should be commended for actively seeking to reduce its impact on the environment. Despite being a small business, it has taken a proactive approach by installing a voltage optimisation solution, which has resulted in substantial energy consumption savings and a marked reduction in carbon emissions.”
Mr Romoff added: “Like Tregroes Waffle Bakery, an increasing number of small businesses are turning to VO4HOME. This is heartening, as voltage optimisation has been proven to be a cost effective and reliable way to improve energy efficiency and lower overall emissions.”
While the decision to implement voltage optimisation was cost driven, it was also in line with one of Tregroes Waffle Bakery key values to be an environmentally responsible business.
Kyna Huysmans, head of environmental operations Tregroes Waffle Bakery commented: “As energy prices continue to spiral, we are always looking at ways to reduce our energy usage and make our processes more efficient. The installation of a VO4HOME unit has taken us closer to achieving our goal by reducing costs while benefiting the environment.”
Created by a team that has over 150 years combined experience in designing and manufacturing energy saving solutions, VO4HOME is a voltage optimisation system with a 14kW capacity that is designed for use in homes and the workplace. The unit optimises incoming voltage to a constant 220V and can help households and small businesses save around 330-500lbs of CO2 emissions per year.
