This course gives a basic understanding of some essential First Aid procedures and will enable successful candidates to perform the role of the Appointed Person in the workplace, to recognise and treat some major injuries and illnesses, giving the learner upon its completion, the sufficient skill base and confidence to administer first aid in most situations, in-line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
