ULearn college are working with Neville Southall to deliver a BTEC qualification in Community Coaching
Learners will also learn some of the major bones
and muscles of the body. Knowledge of
this anatomical terminology is required for any person who wants to work in the
Sport and Active Leisure industry.
The qualification also explores the basic
requirements of a healthy diet. From
this information, the learner will know which foods to eat for a healthy diet.
It will introduce learners to the concept of
hazards and the ways in which it is possible to protect oneself and others. Learners will have an introduction in to
planning and leading Sports and Active Leisure activities, providing them with
what could be their first step into leadership.
With the aim of making Sport and Active Leisure
sessions structured and exciting for the participants.
