The Woolly Shepherd Ltd
school acoustics, acoustic absorption, Restaurant Acoustics,
Woolly Acoustic Clouds prevent sound from bouncing around a room – like in a noisy restaurant – by reducing reverberation times. Made entirely from natural materials and naturally fire retardant, they are the only sustainable acoustic absorption option on the market.
Our acoustic clouds are suitable for use in a range of indoor environments that suffer from a lack of acoustic absorption – from schools and village halls to restaurants and performance spaces. Typically, these are rooms with large areas of painted plaster, exposed stone, timber or linoleum-covered floors, or more generally where there is a lack of porous 'soft' coverings.
Acoustic Woolly Clouds are easy to retrofit and are suitable for rooms of all kinds, from listed buildings to modern glass structures. We particularly specialise in helping with poor school and village hall acoustics. We have fitted our acoustic clouds and wall boards successfully in Victorian school buildings, church and village halls, glass geodesic domes and modern block extensions, often for organizations on a tight budget.
