You are currently missing out on a large number of government contracts. The tendering process is tough. PQQs were bought in to make it easier, now they are being/have been scrapped, but it is still open competition, even if you are registered, that’s just hoop-jumping.

What you really need to know is what are civil servants looking for when they assess tender bids, when the score them, and when they award winners.

The rules on fairness have meant that there is often very little information to be gleaned, and the important questions like how much can I cost this for are often not included. So what you need to know is what we used to do, which is assess tenders and contracts, interviews prospective consultants, and award winners. And how we choose those winners.

The Social Innovation Unit is pleased to offer an innovative training package that is highly affordable, and highly beneficial if you want to know how civil servants assess your bid, and what they are looking for when they do so.
