Family Law Blog: Contact order enforcement: is it as bad as people think?

Trying to agree arrangements between you when you separate regarding the children can be difficult. I have male clients tell me that they feel like a babysitter and female clients tell me that the children don't want to see their father. Most of the time we can sort this out with either correspondence and agreement being reached or through mediation. In some cases unfortunately it has to go to court and a contact order obtained. But what happens if the order is then breached by either party ? This week's blog gives you some idea of the issues
