Dog Walking is provided on a 1-1 basis unless there are other dogs in the household which are therefore used to being walked together. Owners are responsible for providing all equipment which the dogs normally wear. This includes collars, leads, muzzles, coats etc. Please note that dogs must wear a name tag at all times when in a public area. Dog mess will be cleared up as required by law and bags are carried at all times. Whilst on walks, a first aid kit, mobile phone and contact numbers are carried. The Walker will meet with the client beforehand to discuss the requirements and also to walk any routes which are familiar to the dog. These routes are normally changed freqently to stimulate the dog and provide new experiences. During night walks, a torch is carried and the dog and walker will wear safety vests so that they are seen by road users. On return home the walker will make sure that fresh water is provided and that the dog is dry (if raining or leaping in puddles!). Please provide a towel for this purpose.
