By: Banbury Museum  25/05/2016

A showcase of contemporary and imaginative images that capture the essence and spirit of British life. Established in 2014 these awards recognise the talents of both amateur and professional photographers, while simultaneously reviving a greater awareness of documentary photography. Whether thought provoking, illuminating, poignant or humorous, this is a celebration of photographs that capture the very essence and spirit of British life - original and arresting images of our nation and people. There are ten separate categories including street life, rural life, portraiture and a special award for the best documentary feature. Started in March until July 2016
