Corrective exercise is the combination of sport and exercise medicine to train for fitness and bodyshape and weight loss but in combination with consideration to biomechanical needs, previous injuries and muscle imbalances. Corrective exercise means you treat and prevent injury at the same time as obtaining your fitness/health goals.
Performance training is about optimsing physical performance and functioning within a specific sport or activity (i.e. climbing mountains) as well as preventing injury and achieving elite everyday living!
